There are four areas of responsibility that Harvest Assembly of God must fulfill if we are to accomplish this great mandate given to us by Christ himself. As a dynamic church proclaiming the word of God, we propose to make Disciples of Christ by way of the following:
- 1.) Exalt God (Worship)
- Each of these living beings had six wings, and their wings were covered with eyes, inside and out. Day after day and night after night they keep on saying, "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty-the one who always was, who is, and who is still to come". (9) Whenever the living beings give glory and honor and thanks to the one sitting on the throne, the one who lives forever and ever, (10) the twenty four elders fall down and worship the one who lives forever and ever. And they lay their crowns before the throne and say, (11) "You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created everything, and it is for your pleasure that they exist and were created".
- 2.) Encourage Christians Towards Spiritual Maturity
- And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice-the kind he will accept. When you think of what he has done for you, is this too much to ask? (2) Do not copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect his will really is.
- 3.) Equip Christians for Ministry
- He is the one who gave these gifts to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. (12) Their responsibility is to equip God's people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ, (13) until we come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God's Son that we will be mature and full grown in the Lord, measuring up to the full stature of Christ.
- 4.) Evangelize the World for Christ
- For "Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved". (14) But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?
