  • J.B. Beaver is the Ranger Kids’ mascot. He helps to guide boys through weekly lessons that reinforce godly principles in their daily lives. These weekly experiences and activities are enhanced through a specific advancement system designed to give the boys a sense of achievement and purpose. This advancement system congratulates boys with badges for their awards vest. Ranger Kids begin their journey earning badges by learning the Royal Rangers Motto, the Ranger Code and the Royal Rangers Pledge.

  • Discovery Rangers
  • Discovery Rangers is for boys in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade. They get to discover new friends and become involved in outdoor activities such as camping. Boys will continue to learn and memorize the Royal Rangers Motto, Code and Pledge throughout the three year program. Discovery Rangers will realize the importance of being organized and focus on how to become a leader. Each boy will learn about his own abilities and build on them as he works towards becoming a man of God.
  • Adventure Rangers
  • The Adventure Rangers is a three year program for boys in 6th, 7th and 8th grade. Boys in the Adventure program seek adventures and learn through their experiences. Adventurers from the past include men like Christopher Columbus, who sailed west into uncharted waters to get to India and discovered the American continents; Nicolaus Copernicus, who developed a new theory about the arrangement of our universe; and Jedidiah Strong Smith, who explored the wilds of America's western frontier. These are men who inspire us all to probe and expand our horizons. These illustrations will encourage each boy to seek out his own path for success and achievement. Adventure Rangers will become more involved with camping in the Frontiersmen Camping Fellowship. They will also expand their leadership skills in the Junior Leadership Training program. As part of their process of becoming a leader, Adventure Rangers are given the opportunity to help younger Rangers earn badges.
  • Expedition Rangers
  • The Expedition group is for Rangers in 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade. This is a four year program that focuses on putting each Ranger’s ability to use. These boys will be given the opportunity to take part in more adventurous experiences as well as more responsibility as a leader. The Expedition Rangers begin a weekly Bible study called the Spirit Challenge. The Spirit Challenge concentrates on Achievement (through the advancement system continuing to earn awards), Leadership (training skills through junior camps and working in Royal Rangers and Youth ministries), Service (through a variety of ministry opportunities) and Activities (through high action activities that challenge youth with adventure).
